Expression of Interest – Plastic Free July Coffee Voucher Program

During the final two weeks of July, Manningham Council is running a Plastic Free July education campaign, setting up pop-up events in various shopping precincts across Manningham to engage residents in conversations around reducing waste.

We will be giving out free reusable keep cups and coffee vouchers at our pop-up events and we are seeking local cafes to participate in this important campaign.

When presented with the vouchers and Manningham Keep Cups, participating cafes will exchange the vouchers for a single coffee or other hot beverage up to a $5 value. The keep cups are 330ml a standard medium coffee size and the vouchers will be valid until 31 August.

All participating cafes will be reimbursed for the vouchers that they have collected at the end of August.

On presentation of a Plastic Free July voucher, and accompanied by a Manningham Keep Cup, I will accept the voucher and provide a beverage up to the value of $5 in lieu of payment. I will keep all exchanged vouchers for reimbursement by Manningham Council at the end of August 2022. There are 100 vouchers distributed per centre.
