How to create a COVIDSafe workplace
It is mandatory for every Victorian business to have a COVIDSafe Plan. For information and resources to help your business prepare a COVIDSafe Plan, visit coronavirus.vic.gov.au/covidsafe-plan
Business and industry in Victoria must operate based on six principles of COVIDSafe workplaces:
- ensure physical distancing (1.5 metres)
- wear a face mask
- practice good hygiene
- keep good records and act quickly if staff become unwell
- avoid interactions in close spaces
- create workforce bubbles.

What to do if you are showing symptoms of COVID-19 at work
- Go home and do not go to work
- Get tested
- Financial support is available while you wait for test results
- Only return to work once you have received a negative test result
