Aconex is an Australian construction IT start-up ‘unicorn’, and was sold to global giant Oracle in 2018 for $1.6 billion. Currently, Rob is the Global Vice President of Product Strategy for Oracle Construction and Engineering. He has strategic oversight across the full suite of construction and engineering products at Oracle, including Primavera P6, Textura, Unifier, Prime, and Aconex. We acknowledge the support of LaunchVic in connecting us to Rob. Rob is kindly giving of his own personal time to attend the breakfast. His appearance is a real coup for ME businesses – particularly those in the construction, engineering, trades and IT start up sectors.

About Brad Howarth and Amanda Gome
Brad Howarth is fascinated by change. He has been examining the impact of technology-driven change on business and society for 25 years, writing for local and international publications including The Australian and BRW. His research focuses on the impact of technology on our professional and personal lives, and how we might choose to adapt to take advantages of the changes happening around us. Brad takes complicated topics and future scenarios and presents them in a straightforward and compelling manner, bringing global perspective and demonstrating the interconnectedness of new developments, whilst providing ‘hands-on’ takeways for business owners to apply in their business.
Change agent Amanda Gome has been at the forefront of Australian media and communications for more than 25 years; leading change through the constant stream of disruptive digital and social technologies that have transformed the industry. Amanda has been the force behind the growth of media brands including BRW, the Fast 100 and SmartInvestor. Amanda founded some of Australia’s first digital media brands, including her SmartCompany and StartUp Smart before heading up social and digital media at ANZ until 2015. She is also an Adjunct Professor of Business at RMIT University.
