The Boost your Business vouchers program has returned again to support Victorian businesses to become more productive, employ more people, improve market access and increase their scale, diversity and profitability.

Support for your business is available through the following voucher streams:

Advanced Manufacturing

The Advanced Manufacturing Voucher stream aims to assist Victorian manufacturers innovate, build scale, and grow export capability.

What can the voucher fund?

The stream supports aims to support Victorian manufacturers to increase their development and implementation of new/improved products, enter new export markets and secure global supply chain opportunities.

How much can I receive?

The maximum value of a voucher is $50,000.

Am I eligible?

The stream is open to small and medium sized Victorian enterprises that are on a growth trajectory.

You must:

  • employ 20 to 200 staff or have an annual turnover of greater than $1.5 million
  • be a legal entity that is currently engaged in manufacturing or the manufacturing supply chain or able to demonstrate a genuine commercial connection to the manufacturing supply chain

Asia Gateway

The Asia Gateway Voucher stream aims to support Victorian businesses in increasing their export and business activities with Victoria’s top Asian trading partners. The stream will help build your capabilities and connections to access and expand into Asia.

What can the voucher fund?

The stream supports marketing and engagement activities to help identify and secure Asian market development and export opportunities. Support includes:

  • Marketing and branding strategy development
  • Market Development plan
  • In-market support

How much can I receive?

The maximum value of a voucher is $50,000.

Am I eligible?

The stream is open to small to medium Victorian businesses seeking to increase their export and business activity within an Asian market.

You must employ 20 to 200 staff or have an annual turnover of greater than $1.5 million.

Food Innovation

The Food Innovation Voucher stream aims to support companies innovate, diversify, improve productivity and take new and innovative products to market.

What can the voucher fund?

The stream provides funding to help access facilities, services and advice from approved service providers to help businesses innovate, diversify, improve products and take products to market.

How much can I receive?

Between $10,000 and $50,000 is available.

Am I eligible?

The stream is open to small and medium sized enterprises who:

  • Operate a presence in Victoria
  • Are a registered member of the food innovation network
  • employ 20 to 200 staff or have an annual turnover of greater than $1.5 million
  • Smaller businesses with at least 10 FTE or turnover greater than $500,000 are encouraged to apply for Research & Development and Early Stage Feasibility and Testing vouchers.

Social enterprise

The Social Enterprise Capability Voucher stream aims to support social enterprises to help build business’ capacity and skill up employees.

Businesses supported by the stream will have the means to grow in a manner which is both sustainable and practical.

What can the voucher fund?

The stream supports growth orientated activities and will ideally combine advice and planning, as well as capability development and implementation aspects. These activities should aim to achieve the goals of the businesses long term goals.

The voucher will not fund everyday business activity, nor will it fund advertising costs such as Facebook advertising or Google AdWords.

How much can I receive?

The maximum value of a voucher is $25,000. Successful applicants must contribute a minimum of 20 percent towards the project.

Am I eligible?

The stream is open to Victorian social enterprises looking to grow their operations.

What is a social enterprise?

The Boost your Business program recognises a social enterprise as

  • Led by an economic, social, cultural or environmental mission consistent with a public or community benefit
  • Derive a substantial portion of their income from trade
  • Reinvest the majority of their profit / surplus in the fulfilment of their mission
